New portable DNA tool rapidly identifies CITES listed shark species

A team including our lead scientist Dr. Demian Chapman and Ph.D. students Diego Cardenosa and Jess Quinlan developed a tool funded by Paul G. Allen Philanthropies that will help customs officials identify threatened shark species in fin imports.
